Was finally able to restore all my photos with the exception of a couple !

Lost everything :(
Well it looks like when my computer crashed I lost all my photos - all but what is downloadable from the internet . Why didn't I back them up you ask ? I did In fact back them up on cds through my computer ,and If I cant restore them from their WIM format they are gone forever , which Is quite sad indeed.
On another note , I have been bumped off the waiting list for school and will be attending ACAD starting this fall , which is wonderful.
Wish me luck in the restoration process , hopefully I can figure it out
